Clean blade – apply lubricant. Dress out irregularities from pushing edge. Adjust presentation height to the furthest point forward in the tooth. Adjust blade arm/guides to enable blade to sit “comfortably”. Ensure hold down magnets in ends of plate are in place. Adjust presentation height to the furthest point forward in the tooth.
Tighten/replace shaft & bush. Replace Replace Replace. |
Inconsistent tooth shape. |

Irreparable – ensure only minimum material is removed from front face. Adjust Feed Pawl height. |
Cannot Centre Grind. |
Grinding head not square.
Grinder Arm Pivots misaligned.

Inch machine until grinding wheel is at highest point and MSA cam follower is middle lobe. Head protractor should align with 0°. If not, unclamp grind head clamp using a 4mm Allen key (hex wrench) and realign before securely re-clamping.
